Built Frontend for Course Site | Prof. Jon Eyolfson, University of Toronto | Remote, Toronto
CompEng.gg is a full-stack course management platform I helped build for a University of Toronto professor to manage two large Computer Engineering courses with over 1,000 students. I developed the frontend architecture using React.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS, focusing on speed, accessibility, and intuitive design for large-scale academic workflows.
The platform supports assignment submissions, grading analytics, and real-time performance dashboards, streamlining instructor and TA operations. I implemented dynamic routing, data synchronization, and live update components integrated with a secure backend API.
My work emphasized clean component abstraction, state management, and scalable UI logic that could handle thousands of simultaneous student interactions without latency issues. CompEng.gg is now used actively every semester and has significantly reduced administrative overhead for both teaching staff and students.
