At BioCompute, I contributed to an early nanopore DNA-reader prototype. The project brought together electronics, biological instrumentation, device integration, simulation, and embedded systems.

I worked across several parts of the physical system and learned to follow engineering questions across disciplinary boundaries. A problem that begins with a biological signal can quickly become an electronics, integration, simulation, or software problem.
